Monarch

Monarchs are the best all purpose release butterflies. They are large, strong, and majestic gliders. Monarchs are perfect for Accordion Release Boxes as well as individual and mass release boxes. They are easy to see during the release due to their large size.
We do not recomend them for "small" or clear center pieces as they have a tendency to try to walk through the clear sides of the container. The reason is that they simply do not see the glass or plastic sides and try to walk. This gives the impression of them being stressed, which is not so. It can, however, stress your guests to see them act in a way that appears as if they are trying to 'escape'! There is a quanity discount when you purchase more: Less than 12 price is $8.00;12 to 59 price is $7.00; 60 to 119 price is $6.50, Over 119 price is $6.25.

Painted Lady |
These cute little orange critters are a great butterfly for displays, centerpieces, and place settings. They are used often for Funeral or Memorial Butterfly Releases. Due to there small size and quick flight pattern, they are not as showy as Monarch butterflies. They are, however, much less expensive! Gulf Fritillary |
Gulf Fritillary butterflies are a great butterfly for Funeral or Memorial Butterfly Releases to states where Monarch butterflies cannot be shipped (refer to the USDA Permit Listing). They are beautiful with silver underwings. Gulf Releasing Gulf Fritillaries add a unique touch to a wedding as they are not often released due to the fact that few butterfly farmers raise this species.

Zebra Longwing butterflies are a great butterfly for Funeral or Memorial Butterfly Releases because they seem to hover in place. Their color is yellow/white stripes on black. They can not be ship to many states but they are a pleasure. To purchase please refer to the USDA Permit Listing. They are a little more fragile than Monarchs

White Peacock

These cute little white butterflies fit in quite nicely with wedding lace. They are smaller than Monarchs, like Painted Lady butterflies. They do not fly very far and often land on the ground. When released, they may fly to Flower bouquets and arrangements, a wonderful compliment to the flowers. These butterflies are for Florida customers only. Buckeye

These beautiful small butterflies are for only our Florida Customers. If you live in another state and you especially want Buckeyes for your wedding, locate a butterfly farm in your own state. They will be able to ship Buckeye butterflies to you. These butterflies are excellent in arrangements such as centerpieces. They are very quick and less noticable than larger species and may not be the best choice for a butterfly release.
