Hi, I wanted to thank you for the beautiful butterflies that warmed our hearts. When I got home my husband and I went out to my little garden out back and where my sweet lab is buried and we said a prayer and released one for my animals and my Dad. Next day, Fathers Day, was a toughie. We lost my Dad Christmas to a heck of a battle with cancer and our first Fathers Day without thim. He was soooooo wonderful. I kept our little guy and we went to his gravesite and surrounded by all of his loving family and I said a prayer and we all said we missed you and let him go. He stayed for a looooong time. :o) I am going to send you a picture of him smelling on of his flowers. Thanks so much.

Dear Edith, Our ashes and butterfly ceremony for my husband’s memorial worked out beautifully. All 11 of the butterflies were so frisky when we let them go, half paused just a moment opening their gorgeous wings, then flew away in the most trained and professional way as though they knew their ceremonial part in the grand sendoff for my husband. They made what could have been such a sad solemn occasi9on a very enjoyable and satisfying one. Thank you so much for your extra care.

I just wanted to thank you so very much for the beautiful butterflies! All 13 of them were just amazing. I’m 42 years old and I have never had a butterfly just sit on my hand. Everyone at my son’s memorial was just so takn back by the butterflies. This will be a tradition every year for me to release the butterflies for my son’s anniversary. (He was only 6 ½ years old when he passed and he just loved butterflies.) You have no idea how special these butterflies made this day for me and my husband. Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart.

Dear Edith, Today, 450 Kindergarten through second grade students were absolutely in awe as they watched 15 of their fellow students release your butterflies to dedicate our Butterfly Garden to the author who visited our school. Although the day was overcast, there was a gentle breeze that lifted the butterflies into the air for all to see. Our faculty, parents, and students were absolutely thrilled and enthralled watching the butterflies take flight. All of your butterflies survived their journey to Brandon for release. I can certainly say, toady was a day that we will all hold dear in our hearts. Thank you so very much for the precious opportunity you provided for our students and our staff.

Dear Edith and Steve, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you both for being a part of our Children’s Bereavement Camp. The Campers, Volunteers, and Staff enjoyed the butterfly release and special attention. The children were fascinated by your presentation. Due to the efforts of many, it was a great success. I appreciate your generosity and your willingness to be available on a Saturday to spend time with us at our Children's Bereavement Camp.
